Details for the “Bike for Dad” Photo Contest

  • Organise the “Bike for Dad” Photo Contest during 28 November – 28 December, 2015.

  • Photos that can be submitted must have been taken during 28 November – 11 December, 2015.

  • Submissions can be made between 11 – 18 December, 2015.
    Submission of photos will close on 18 December, 2015, at 18.00 Hrs. (local Thai time).

  • The judging committee will make their final decision on 24-25 December, 2015. (The judging committee comprises National Artists and specialists from the Royal Photographic Society of Thailand under Royal Patronage and from the Tourism Authority of Thailand.)

  • The Royal Photographic Society of Thailand under Royal Patronage will contact the winners to confirm that they are the owner of the photo. (If the person cannot be contacted, he/she will not have the right to receive a prize.)

  • The announcement of the winners will be made on 28 December, 2015, via the website www.bikefordad2015.com.

The theme of the photo contest is divided into 5 categories (a total of 65 prizes)

  • 1. Harmony – Together as One
  • 2. The Royal Projects – Following in the Footsteps of Father
  • 3. Patience – Pedalling to Pay Respect
  • 4. Beautiful Landscapes – Numerous Scenic Views in All Directions
  • 5. Major Attractions – Enjoy Travelling in Thailand

There are 4 major prizes

  • 1. First prize

    Royal trophy from H.R.H Crown Prince Vajiralongkorn.

  • 2. First runner-up prize

    Trophy from the Prime Minister of Thailand.

  • 3. Second runner-up prize

    Trophy from the Deputy Prime Minister.

  • 4. Consolation prize

    10 trophies from the Minister of Tourism and Sports and the Cabinet.


1,009 photos will be printed to be part of a photo book “ Bike for Dad ”, and 2,500 photos of the final round will be used in a mobile exhibition that will be displayed in various regions of Thailand.
