• Organise the “Bike for Dad” Photo Contest during 28 November – 28 December, 2015.

  • Entries for the Contest must be related to the “Bike for Dad” Photo Contest that are ONLY taken during 28 November – 11 December, 2015, and have been taken by a digital camera or mobile phone.

  • Submissions can be made between 11 – 18 December, 2015. Submission of photos will close on 18 December, 2015, at 18.00 Hrs. (local Thai time).

  • The photo file submitted for the Contest must be no shorter than 2,400 Pixels and no longer than 4,000 Pixels in the format familyname.jpg with no watermarks, credits, letters, or graphics on the photo. Also does not have any white or coloured borders.

  • The entrant can send the photo together with a completed application form on the website www.bikefordad2015.com

  • The entrant must be the producer of that photo. Do not duplicate, modify or submit a photo of another person, or submit in the name of another person. The entrant must confirm that the photo submitted is one that he/she is the sole owner. In the case that a third party claims that the submitted photo belongs to him/her, then this will be a violation of the Copyright Act B.E. 2537 (1994). Thus, the entrant must solely accept full responsibility for any damages and expenses that arise. The Ministry of Tourism and Sports will not be responsible for any misconduct made by the entrant.

  • The entrant must complete all the information about the photo and explain about the concept (no more than 2 sentences) in the appropriate boxes on the application form. If the photo has any incorrect information, the judging committee will not accept the submission.

  • The photo can be adapted appropriately; e.g., increased clarity and light, but it is forbidden to distort the photo or main content from reality. The final decision is the discretion of the judging committee.

  • Each entrant is able to submit his/her photo to all 5 themes (no more than 5 photos for each category) and only has the right to receive 1 prize.

  • Each entrant must take care of the original photo file after adapting it to be a high resolution in the case that the he/she must print it for the exhibition.

  • The Ministry of Tourism and Sports will not return each photo file submitted to the entrant. The Ministry of Tourism and Sports has the right to use the photo for publicity purposes in the activities of the Ministry for a period of 1 year as from the end of the Contest, or will use it for similar PR activities in the future including has the right to use the photo in exhibitions and printed materials. There will be no copyright fee paid to the owner of that photo; however, the copyright of the photo will belong to the photographer. As such, the Ministry of Tourism and Sports will inform the name of the owner each time that the photo is used. Following the aforementioned period of time, if the Ministry of Tourism and Sports needs to use the photo, the Ministry will contact the owner and request for permission in writing for its use. Any photos that have been printed remain the property of the Ministry.

  • In the case that the judging committee announce the winners, if the organisers of the event cannot contact the owner of the photo or the winning photo does not have complete details, the judging committee has the right to reject that photo and award the prize to someone else.

  • The entrant does not have any right to claim that the conditions of the Contest are not fair and just. The decision of the judging committee is final.

  • The judging committee does not have any right to use the submitted photo.

  • Submission of photos will close on 18 December, 2015, at 18.00 Hrs. (local Thai time).

  • The announcement of the winners will be made on 28 December, 2015.
